Target Stores 2006 Share-A-Tree Program
For the 15th consecutive year, Target Stores throughout the country will partner with local United Ways
to coordinate the distribution of decorated holiday display trees to needy families. In 2005, Target
Stores donated more than 4,500 holiday display trees, valued at nearly $2 million, to local nonprofit
agencies and needy families, through local United Ways.
This year, seven local Target Stores will donate nearly two dozen decorated holiday display trees to
needy families in the Greater Cleveland area. The following United Way partner agencies participated
in last year's Share-A-Tree program:
The participating Target Stores are located in Bedford Heights, Mayfield Heights, North Olmsted,
Parma, Rocky River, Strongsville, and University Heights. The 7'5" fully-decorated trees will be
delivered on Friday, December 22, just in time for Christmas!
Arrangements must be made by the agencies for the trees to be picked up at the above Target locations
on Friday, December 22, at 7:30 a.m., and delivered to the recipients.
