Spotlight on the Small Business Market Annual Networking Event
The Small Business Market of United Way of Greater Cleveland hosted "Connecting Business the United Way," its second annual networking event, in the Cabaret Room of Pickwick & Frolic, October 5, 2006. It allowed small business owners that have not partnered with United Way to gain perspective on the value-added health and human service programs
their employees can access through United Way partner agencies. It also provided an opportunity to learn about United Way's mission as a leading convener and funder of partnerships focused on solutions for our community's health and human service priorities and how they can help in the effort.
The featured speakers were Danny Ferry, General Manager of the Cleveland Cavaliers, and Steve Millard, Executive Director with the Council of Smaller Enterprises (COSE). Over seventy business professionals attended the event and enjoyed an evening of fun, food and networking thanks to the following generous sponsors:
Community Builder
Charter One
COSE (Council of Smaller Enterprises)
