 Lakewood Hospital, a Cleveland Clinic hospital, continues its tradition as a leader in northeast Ohio's health care community since 1907. This year, Lakewood Hospital is celebrating 100 years of providing quality service to the community.
The hospital also has been a leader in United Way's Health Care Market. With strong leadership support, Lakewood Hospital's commitment to being a United Way Pacesetter is commendable. And their 2007 United Way campaign slogan, “100 years, 100 ways,” dovetails off their anniversary celebration. Lakewood Hospital kicked off their campaign on June 28, and they have already reached 30 percent of their goal! Attendees at the kickoff were encouraged to get their fellow colleagues involved in the campaign. Hospital leaders thanked employees in advance for their continued support and significant role they play as a vital community resource.
