A big thank you to all the friends and supporters of United Way of Greater Cleveland who helped make this year's Campaign Kick-off and Pancake Flip on September 7, 2006 a huge success! 2006 Campaign Co-Chairs Robert H. Rawson, Jr., Partner-In-Charge, Jones Day Cleveland office, and Robert J. King, Jr., Managing Partner, Western Reserve Partners LLC, announced the 2006 campaign goal of $43.6 million to the resounding beat of the Warrensville Heights High School Drum Line. City of Cleveland Mayor Frank Jackson, Cleveland City Council President Martin J. Sweeney and Downtown Cleveland City Council and United Way Campaign Cabinet member Joe Cimperman joined local celebrities and business leaders amid the pancake flipping festivities on Public Square. Batter was poured for more than 5,700 pancakes and more than 1,900 breakfasts were prepared.
