Days of Caring Volunteers Make a Difference!
The United Way Days of Caring program is at the heart of connecting hundreds of volunteers to local
nonprofit organizations. Days of Caring offers local companies the opportunity to complete a day of work
at one of United Way's 135 partner agencies. Volunteers can see first-hand the needs in their community
as well as gain a personal understanding of how their United Way contributions are implemented. The
Days of Caring program showcases the organizations' volunteer spirit and commitment to making a
difference in our community. Most important, volunteers can have fun while building team spirit and
morale. In 2006, over 2,000 volunteers from nearly 50 companies participated in projects
at United Way of Greater Cleveland's community partner agencies.
Please contact Jessica D. Snyder at 216-436-2123 or jdsnyder@uws.org if you are interested in participating in the Days of Caring program.
