    The United Way of Greater Cleveland 2005-2006 Annual Meeting
    We made it! The big news at United Way of Greater Cleveland's Annual Meeting on March 10 was the attainment of the 2005 Campaign goal of $43.5 million. Henry Meyer, 2005 United Way Campaign Chairman and 2006 Chairman of the Board made the announcement to great fanfare. New board members, Community Vision Council leadership, the 2006 campaign co-chairs and new board officers were announced before a crowd of more than 1,200 members of the community at the Renaissance Cleveland Hotel.

    The United Way of Greater Cleveland 2005 campaign raised $43,825,886, surpassing its goal of $43.5 million. 2006 Campaign Co-chairs Robert J. King, Jr., Western Reserve Partners LLC managing partner, and Robert H. Rawson, Jr., Cleveland Jones Day partner-in-charge.

    Sandra Pianalto, Community Investment Committee Division Chair and Federal Reserve Bank of Cleveland president and CEO, and Steven R. Borstein, Community Investment Committee chair and Cedar Brook Financial Partners financial advisor, were named the 2005 Volunteers of the Year.
