Cleveland Browns alumni and corporate teams enjoy day on the greens at United Way Services Sixth Annual Celebrity Golf Tournament on September 15

Cleveland Browns alumni and corporate teams will hit a hole in one for the community at the United Way Services 6th Annual Celebrity Golf Tournament on Monday, September 15, 2003 at Hemlock Springs Golf Club. The tournament, presented by the Cleveland Browns and Continental Airlines and hosted by Hemlock Springs Golf Club, generates major support for United Way Services and its 186 programs at nearly 130 partner agencies.
The tournament begins with a celebrity long drive contest and ends with dinner and auctions at Ferrante Winery and Ristorante.
"United Way Services appreciates the opportunity to partner with the Cleveland Browns, Continental Airlines and Hemlock Springs Golf Club for this important event,” said K. Michael Benz, president and CEO of United Way Services. “Not only does the tournament bring people together to help Greater Clevelanders, but it also reinforces the strong partnership United Way Services has with local organizations.”
Some of the Cleveland Browns alumni hitting the links are Tournament Chair Reggie Rucker, Bob Babich, Hanford Dixon, Herman Fontenot, Jim Kanicki, Reggie Langhorne, Kevin Mack, Frank Minnifield, Webster Slaughter, and Felix Wright.
