OCTOBER 2009
Now more than ever
Live United United Way of
Greater Cleveland hopes to raise $40 million during our
2009 campaign to support 202 health and human service
programs. Now, more than ever, we need your help to
ensure that these services remain available to those who

The Cleveland Browns and United Way Team Up to
Build a Fitness Zone at Famicos
Foundation United Way teamed up with
the Cleveland Browns, Deloitte and Thompson Hine LLP to
create a Fitness Zone for children at the 11th Annual
Hometown Huddle at Famicos Foundation's Park Village
Apartments located in Cleveland. The Fitness Zone was
constructed with volunteer labor and is part of the
Browns' Play 60 Program, which encourages kids to get at
least 60 minutes of physical activity every day. The
Famicos Foundation serves more than 120 kids at this
location. See
the photos of a very active and rewarding day or view
a video of the Browns players in action from the
event.
