For Retirees
Retirees continue to make a difference
The fastest growing group in the United States are those over the age of 65. You are more healthy than previous generations, active, experienced and ready to make a difference now that you've left the workforce and have more time to devote to personal causes. Chances are you were active in the workplace and active contributors to your campaigns, yet we know that once you left your company, you often are not included in the United Way campaign. If you would like more information about continuing to give as a retiree, please contact Chris Morgan at (216) 436-2183.
If you're a retiree who contributed to United Way while employed, your gifts supported hundreds of excellent programs and services for local people who needed help. While payroll deduction may no longer be an option for you, you can make a one-time gift or be billed quarterly by United Way Services. You may also make a contribution to United Way by donating stocks and securities. For more information on how to take advantage of this payment option please contact Sue Marino, Administrative Associate, Agency Services, United Way of Greater Cleveland, (216) 436-2132.
