United Way Partner Agencies offer Summer Camps for Youth
Here are some great camps where kids can make new friends and learn new things:
- Greater Cleveland YMCA branches offer Day Camp programs that promote learning,
growing, creating and exploring. Swimming activities, regular field trip excursions from the center
and nutritious morning and afternoon snacks are also included. Program hours are convenient for
working parents and county voucher subsidies are accepted.

- The Jewish Community Center of Cleveland offers a distinct Jewish camping
experience for more than 1,000 children of all ages and interests each year. Camp programs include
day camp, performing arts camp, sports camp and overnight camp. An inclusion program provides
individualized companion counselors for campers with special needs so that they may fully participate
in day camp activities. Learn more about
the JCC.
- The Hiram House Camp in Chagrin Falls provides traditional camping experiences
and activities that promote outdoor skills and self-confidence while having fun. Unique activities
include horseback riding and the Alpine Climbing Wall Adventure. The
Campership Fund enables
local youth to participate in summer camp who would otherwise be unable to enjoy the benefits of
camping at Hiram House.
