Goal: Increase lifelong learning and success in the workplace.
We believe that many of the issues that residents of Greater Cleveland face in education and employment can be linked back to barriers resulting from poverty and health deficits. High quality education is an underlying theme that cuts across all four Vision Councils. Success in school is a precursor to and very strong predictor of success in life, work, health and family stability.
Each investment committee is composed of clusters of programs and the Learning and Earning Committee is no exception. The three clusters that compose the Learning and Earning Committee are: Early Learning, Employment and Education. Each cluster focuses on programs administered by different United Way agencies with a focus on their respective missions.
