The Community Vision Leadership Council, the initial broad-based group of private and public sector leaders along with health and human service experts who preliminarily identified a set of community priorities to focus efforts on long-term solutions to local health and human service needs. Now called the Community Vision Council (CVC), it has taken the lead in working collaboratively in public/private partnerships on community-wide issues and building a new health and human service infrastructure to improve the quality of life for all Greater Clevelanders. Other volunteers on United Way's own Investment Committees will make funding distribution decisions in concert with the CVC's community-wide agenda focused around the same four priority areas:
