About the NCCFC
The North Coast Combined Federal Campaign (NCCFC) is the annual fund-raising drive
conducted by Federal employees in their workplace each fall. Each year,
Federal employees and military personnel raise millions of dollars
through the NCCFC. These donations benefit thousands of non-profit
charities. Find more information and facts about the NCCFC below.
The Combined Federal Campaign belongs to you--the Federal
employee. It does not belong to the Federal Government, the Principal
Combined Fund Organization, nor to the charitable organizations that
benefit from it.
It is
estimated that about 1 in 4 people receive benefits,
either directly or indirectly from a CFC Agency.
Over 100 local
Federal agencies participate in the Combined Federal Campaign.
Workplace
giving has advantages. Through payroll deduction you can give more and
have a small amount deducted each pay period. The extreme majority contribute by payroll deduction.
Charities you
support through the CFC focus on people who really need help--including
the hungry, the homeless, the sick and children and families in need.
You can direct
your support to charities that work on the issues you care most deeply
about.
The CFC sends
almost all of what it collects to the charities that provide services to
people, retaining only a small percentage on fund raising expenses and overhead.
Federal
employees check out all the charities so that only those that meet high
standards can participate in the CFC.
Your fellow
Federal employees need you...do your part to help.
