    2007 CHALLENGE GRANT OPPORTUNITIES
    Eight Greater Cleveland-area companies are challenging area businesses, organizations and individuals to spark new and increased giving to United Way of Greater Cleveland's Annual Campaign by providing $490,000 in challenge grants.

    Heartfelt thanks to the following community leaders for issuing these challenges to our community to do great things...together!
    National City, Forest City Enterprises and Eaton
    Community-Wide Needs Challenge Grant: National City ($100,000), Eaton Corporation ($50,000) and Forest City Enterprises, Inc. ($50,000) will match dollar for dollar -- up to the grant total -- all new or increased donations to Community-Wide Needs, United Way's general fund, and/or Impact Areas.
    KeyCorp New Business Challenge Grant: KeyCorp ($100,000) and Parker Hannifin ($25,000) will match dollar for dollar -- up to the grant total -- all new company, employee and/or special event donations to the 2007 Campaign through the workplace.
    Jones Day Professional Challenge Grant: Jones Day ($15,000) will match dollar for dollar -- up to the grant total -- all professional market company, employee and/or special event donations to the 2007 Campaign through the workplace.
    Medical Mutual and Charter One Small Business Challenge Grant: Medical Mutual of Ohio ($100,000), and Charter One Bank ($50,000) will match dollar for dollar -- up to the grant total -- all new and increased company, employee and/or special event donations for businesses with up to 100 employees.
